Through the franchise agreement between Leaders Mind College and Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), the Faculty of Management and Social Sciences (FMSS) and offers two main programs: the Bachelor of Human Resource Development and the Bachelor of Management (Technology). As one of the esteemed faculties within Leaders Mind University, we are dedicated to providing a comprehensive and enriched educational experience for the young generation. The School of Banking and Insurance was established within Leades Mind University with the decision of the Council of Ministers and is the first 4-year school in iraq to provide education in the field of Finance. The School accepted its first students with it has accepted students only on a departmental basis with the The School graduated its first students
The School, which provides education in four departments, namely Banking, Capital Markets, Insurance and Actuarial Sciences, trains qualified experts and management candidates who have theoretical and practical knowledge for the sector. In the departments, basic courses (such as economics, finance, business, mathematics and law) are generally given in the first two years, and sectoral specialization courses are given in addition to these courses in the last two years. Therefore, the courses are given by experienced experts in the finance sector as well as a distinguished academic staff who are experts in their fields.
With a team of highly qualified and experienced lecturers, we aim to provide students with a solid foundation of knowledge in their chosen path through the experts in the field who will deliver both theoretical and practical insights, in addition to industry-relevant perspectives. We strongly believe in the power of interdisciplinary education, where we encourage our students to explore the connections between various fields of study, fostering a holistic approach to problem-solving and innovation. Through the integration of theory and practice, our programs prepare the next generation to navigate the complexities of the modern world and contribute meaningfully to their respective industries.
Students can optionally do an internship before graduation to get to know the sector, identify their deficiencies by using their knowledge in the sector, and develop their relations with the sector.
With the Presidential Decree published in the Official Gazette dated 08.03.2022, Leaders Mind University Banking and Insurance School was closed and the Faculty of Financial Sciences was established. Our faculty is the first and only Finance Faculty in iraq that provides undergraduate education in finance.
